DEATHS:

July 19, 2024             JANE CRAWFORD

Former resident, Jane Crawford, almost 81 years of age, passed away July 16, 2024, in Hospice.  Jane moved to the Carolinas a couple of years ago after living in Tara Woods for about 18 years.  She was in charge of activities for a while.  Please remember Jane’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

July 15, 2024              JUDY HOLAT

Judith Ann Holat (Onstad) 1939-2024 loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother joined her parents and her siblings with our Lord in heaven on July 14, 2024.  

Judy was born on January 26, 1939, in La Crosse Wisconsin but grew up in Milwaukee where she met her husband Dale of 66 years. She had 4 children Mark (Julie) Scott (Sandi) Jeff and Carri, nine grandchildren: Christopher, CJ, Jackie, Kim, Travis, Alex, Josh, Katie, and Everett and 8 great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Ryker, Mackenzi, Otis, Malachi, Rella, Jordan, and Emilia.  

Judy was always busy and her greatest joy was spending time with children. She actively volunteered in scouting, Little League, and the snowmobile club. She also worked in the New Berlin school system for thirty-four years and retired in 2001 as the head cook.  

After retiring, Judy and Dale were snowbirds spending their winters at Tara Woods retirement community in N. Fort Myers, Florida where she had many friends and kept busy playing tennis, making beautiful artwork with the ceramic club, and quilting, crocheting, and sewing clubs. She served on many committees in the community organizing the Lee Hospital blood drive and planning many Tara Woods parties over the twenty-two years she wintered there.  

Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in her name can be made to St. Jude’s  Children’s Hospital. Cards may be sent to Dale at 3604 Sandpiper Circle, Waukesha WI 53189.

July 12, 2024          ROD DOLIN

Rod Dolin had surgery to replace his right knee on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  He will be going to the Lodge at Cypress Cove when released. He is doing well.  Cards may be sent to 19325 Amelia Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. Please remember Rod in your thoughts and prayers.

July 5, 2024            NANCY WUEBBELER
Nancy Wuebbeler was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital on Monday, July 1, 2024. After lots of testing, she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.  Nancy returned home Wednesday and will have Physical Therapy and some nursing care at home.  Cards may be sent to 19343 Amelia Rd, Lot 667, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. July 5, 2024            RON PERKINS
Ron Perkins fell a couple of weeks ago and, as a result, had his right leg amputated.  He is recovering at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cape Coral, 1730 NE Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33909. Cards are encouraged.  Please remember Ron in your thoughts and prayers.

July 5, 2024             HAL GRITZMACHER

Hal Gritzmacher had carpal tunnel surgery on his right hand on July 5, 2024.  The surgery went well, and he is recovering and doing well at home. Cards may be sent to 2901 Tara Lakes Circle, North Ft Myers, FL 33917.  Please remember Hal in your thoughts and prayers.

May 8, 2024  UPDATE           DONNA SEALEY
Donna Sealey contracted GBS a year ago in April 2023.  She now has movement in her arms and legs.  She can feed herself.
